Country house H

A Sculpted Retreat Where Nature Moves Within the Walls

This high-end private residence draws inspiration from Southern Europe, reinterpreted through a distinctly Nordic lens. Set in the scenic surrounds of the Stockholm archipelago, Country house H is designed as a place of serenity, reflection, and tactile beauty. The project channels the philosophy of wabi-sabi—finding elegance in simplicity and imperfection—while remaining grounded in natural materials and refined craftsmanship.

The interiors merge seamlessly with the landscape, blurring boundaries through the use of stuccoed surfaces, wide-plank natural oak flooring, and monolithic stone elements that continue from the entrance into sculptural stairs and fireplace. The palette is grounded in carefully picked stone, blackened steel, aged bronze, and soft, natural fabrics. Every element—from unfilled travertine walls to the antique finishes—evokes a calm, sensory-rich environment.

Exterior and interior materials interweave, dissolving distinctions between indoor and outdoor living.

Every corner of FV40 is curated as a sculptural, lived-in composition—designed not just to be viewed, but to be felt.
